The ITAA team has gone from strength to strength during our first year in operation, with the introduction of three new partners and plans to extend further afield.
We now offer dedicated software asset management (SAM) expertise, as well as further SAP-specific services, including roadmap design for organizations transitioning to S/4 HANA.
Our new ITAA partners expand the breadth of our one-stop-service, offering clients an even wider range of independent support and helping them to stay on top of intricate software rules and complex licensing models.
Introducing our new partners
SAM Charter is an internationally recognized consultancy in enterprise-wide software and IT asset management (ITAM), building world-class ITAM/SAM frameworks.
Our new vertical lead from SAM Charter is Rory Canavan.

At ITAA, Rory helps clients to derive the very best results from their SAM suite, aiding in IT operational and strategic decision-making.
LCxp provides companies with fully independent advice on successfully purchasing, managing and using their Microsoft software licenses.

He is highly skilled in the field of Microsoft licensing contracts, acting as a conversation partner for C-level and directors, as well as a sparring partner for systems integrators and software procurement departments.
At ITAA, Wim’s in-depth expertise enables him to guide the entire process of determining a customer’s licensing position, from contract negotiations to strategy definition. He also assists with specific projects such as audit support and the optimization of on-premise and cloud environments, allowing our customers to significantly reduce their IT costs.
iTh is an SAP solution delivery and integration partner, guiding customers to make the right SAP choices based on their business needs and IT strategies.
Our new vertical lead is Hans Naedts.
Hans has worked with SAP since 2004, helping clients in Europe and globally to overcome their software challenges. This has included auditing and optimizing SAP usage, building future-proofed roadmaps and saving clients licensing costs.
As ITAA partner, his extensive expertise is helping clients transition to S4/HANA. He also coordinates and runs the ‘run’ and ‘support’ phases of SAP projects.
SAP vertical lead at ITAA, James Cochlin, said, “Rory, Wim and Hans, with their excellent track records and reputations in the industry, complement and complete our existing services.
“We’ve spent this year growing our client base and teaming up with global consultancies to help them deliver their niche services. Introducing new partners helps to back up our clients’ commercial and architectural needs, while supporting us with the processes to manage software assets going forward.”

Gaining momentum for 2021
During what has been a challenging year globally and with a heightened awareness of the need to be commercial, we have been helping clients to maximize the value from their software agreements and optimize overall IT spend. This will only increase next year.
ITAA’s Oracle vertical lead, Daniel Hesselink, said, “We have ambitious plans for 2021 and are currently in discussions with partners around the world, who are experts in their niche and keen to stay completely independent. Clients too have responded enthusiastically to our breadth of service, knowing we can offer everything they need in one place.”
James added, “Going forward we’ll be moving away from the core team being based in one time-zone and expanding into new territories further afield, so that projects can be delivered locally by trusted partners.
“We’ll be looking particularly at quality assurance and how to standardize and monitor that globally, to cement our position as the trusted software advisory partner.”
If you have an interest in working with ITAA, we are looking for new partners and skillsets to complement and complete our service offerings.
