Oracle customers spend significant time trying to achieve annual savings only to find that Oracle describes many limitations in the Technical Support Policies which prevent it happening

Saving Stages

  • Data Collection and Analysis

    During this stage, you are requested to supply collected data in accordance with the instructions provided by ITAA. This information will be used to determine the scope and savings model to be implemented. Existing support fees are analyzed against industry standards. By doing so, we assess and are able to explain on an order-line level if the current support levels match commercial standards.

  • Company Assessment

    We need to understand why and how previous reduction attempts were made by you. We nee clarifications about any under- or non-utilization of supported Oracle products. We will also gather information about the future Oracle roadmap, outlining if utilization volumes of specific Oracle products are expected to change in the near future.

  • Feasibility Assessment

    Following the previous steps, ITAA determines if savings can be implemented and provide a range of savings that are anticipated to incur in the upcoming renewal cycle, as well as the next consecutive 2 years.

  • Presentation and Implementation

    Commencing the Feasibility Assessment, a plan is presented to outline, discuss and agree to a strategy to implement the savings identified as “Achievable goals”. Together we discuss tactics and strategies, focusing on roles, responsibilities, and timelines.

  • Success Fee

    The success fee is based on your existing budgets assigned to for the regular 3-year total support fees. The success fee is 30% of the net-savings that are implemented during that period. Note that some but not all savings are implemented at the next renewal cycle.
